NFL betting odds and lines for Week 3 of the 2015 season

Seven of those home underdogs have won including the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Redskins from Week 2. The Falcons caught a big break getting the Cowboys this week but will they capitalize?. Do you believe in Johnny Manziel? If you do give the points if not take the points.

Kansas City +7 at Green Bay (O/U is 48)

So the bloom is already off the rose for Rex Ryan in Buffalo after the Patriots beat the Bills 40-32. It looks like he’s got limited arm strength and he certainly has limited mobility at age 39. The Colts looked awful losing to the Jets on Monday night. But they are giving up 13.5 points this week at home vs Jacksonville. Colin Kaepernick still has a 26-15 record as a starting QB in the NFL but he’s just 9-9 over his last 18 games. That’s a lot of points for a NFL team to give up. His record with the Chiefs is 20-12 but he’s 9-8 over his last 17 games.

Over the first two weeks of the 2015 NFL season a total of 13 teams have been home underdogs. Nick Foles is now 16-10 as a starting QB in the NFL. The list includes four more home dogs this week. Ryan Tannehill is just 24-26 as a starting NFL QB so the Bills should be in this game.

Oakland +3.5 at Cleveland (O/U is 45)

San Diego +2 at Minnesota (O/U is 45)

New Orleans +3.5 at Carolina (O/U is 45)

What happened to the 49ers defense in Week 2? After holding the Vikings to just three points in Week 1, the 49ers defense gave up 43 points in Week 2 in a 43-18 loss to the Steelers. His last regular season loss was to the 49ers in 2013.

Denver -3 at Detroit (O/U is N/A)

Cincinnati +2.5 at Baltimore (O/U is 44.5)

Tampa +6.5 at Houston (O/U is 41)

The Ravens are 0-2 and John Madden used to say that win-less teams in the NFL are always dangerous because everybody wants to get that first win and will give top effort to get it. Todd Bowles is looking pretty good as a head coach in the NFL.

Pittsburgh -1 at St. If you believe in Jameis Winston take the points if not bet the Texans and give the points.

Tennessee is another home underdog this week as they take on the win-less Colts. Ben Roethlisberger’s career record as a starting QB in the NFL is 107-53 so betting against him has not been a great strategy to date. Will that hold true this week for the Ravens? The odds makers clearly believe it to be true as win-less Baltimore is favored over 2-0 Cincinnati this week.

Buffalo +3 at Miami (O/U is 44)

Philadelphia +2.5 at New York Jets (O/U is 47)

Chicago +15 at Seattle (O/U is 45)

49ers +6.5 at Arizona (O/U is 44)

After playing lousy in Week 1 vs the 49ers, both Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson got on track last week in the Vikings 26-16 win over the Lions. Bradord has yet to have a season in the NFL where his team won more games than it lost with him as the starting QB. Clausen’s career record in the NFL as a starter is 1-10 but on the plus side he’s married to a really hot pro beach volleyball player named Jess Gysin.

The Raiders won as a home underdog last week vs the Ravens. Rodgers record as a starting QB in the NFL is now 72-33. If they do not win this week vs the Titans it might be a very long year in Indianapolis for Andrew Luck and company.

The Rams won in Week 1 as a home underdog vs Seattle and they get the chance to win again this week as a dog vs the Steelers. Can Eli Manning and the Giants give away another victory this week on Thursday night?

The Broncos are 2-0 but Denver fans have to be concerned about the way Peyton Manning has played so far. Chip Kelly might have bitten off more than he could chew by bringing in Bradford by trade. Louis last week as a home underdog. Louis (O/U is 47.5)

Jacksonville +13.5 at New England (O/U is 47.5)

Drew Brees career record as a NFL starter is 117-86 but he’s just 7-11 over his last 18 games. He’s only had one losing season in 12 years in the NFL.

You have to have to some guts to bet against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at home. Carson Palmer is now 18-6 as Arizona’s starting QB and he’s won his last eight games in a row. The Falcons could easily have lost both their first two games but mistakes by the Eagles and Giants helped Atlanta get the wins. Watt and company in Houston. Do you believe in Blake Bortles? He played good last week and if you think he can do it again take the points.

After a terrible looking loss vs the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, Sam Bradford’s career record as a NFL starter stands at 18-32-1. Will the winning trend of home underdogs continue? It will be interesting to see in Week 3. Still, though, Manning is now 40-10 as the Broncos starting QB. Can Oakland go on the road and upset the Browns this week? Cleveland beat the Titans pretty handily last week 28-14 but were aided by three Titans turnovers. Good luck to all the NFL teams and especially all the NFL bettors this week!

Even though the New York Giants are 0-2 they are favored this week by four points over the Washington Redskins. Betting all home underdogs has been a winning strategy so far this season in the NFL but will that trend continue in Week 3?

Washington +4 at New York Giants (O/U is 43.5)

The Dallas Cowboys are a home underdog this week to the Atlanta Falcons after losing Tony Romo for eight weeks to a broken collarbone. The Giants, led by Eli Manning’s dumb ideas and play, gave away both of their first two games by surrendering fourth quarter leads in both games on Eli Manning mistakes. Buffalo is a three point underdog for their first road game this season at Miami. Washington beat St. Can Brees turn that around this week as an underdog at Carolina? Cam Newton’s career record as a starter in the NFL is 32-31-1.

When was the last time a 0-2 team was a 15 point favorite in the NFL? With Jay Cutler out with a hamstring injury, Jimmy Clausen gets the start for the Bears this week. Can the duo play well again this week and beat the Chargers at home? Philip Rivers is almost always a tough customer and this should be a pretty good game this week.

Jameis Winston looked a lot better in Week 2 as the Buccaneers upset the Saints on the road 26-19. Matthew Stafford is just 35-44 for the Lions.

Indianapolis -3.5 at Tennessee (O/U is 45)

The Patriots have looked pretty good beating the Bills and Steelers so far this season. Winston is sure to face plenty of pressure this week on the road facing J.J. Alex Smith is 58-48-1 as a starting QB in the NFL.
